How Could You
How could you, I thought you were my best friend. You lied to me, You told me he cheated on me, But I found out, You were the one who wanted to be, How could you? You promised never to, But you broke it, He never cheated on me, You just wanted to see, The heart-ache and misery, That left me, As I yell at him, Tears rolling, You backstabbing, One minute your comforting me, Then you are dating him, Not even after you told me, He cheated on me, How could you? You're supposed to be my sister, My best friend for life. Yet you turn around, And stab me in the back, With that sharp knife, How could you? I trusted you, Yet you took, The only thing that made me happy, By liying to me, Saying he cheated on me. We are supposed to be there for each other, But no longer do I care. How could you? I thought you were my friend, I trusted you, Once again Making the same mistake I made before Believing your lie. Just to try Hoping you changed, Seems I was wrong, You called me names, A whore to my face, I thought I could depend on you, But it seems the girl I once knew, Is gone, Where did she go? Will she come back? I miss the old you, I can't believe I fell for it yet again, Have fun living life, With the people who love you, I wish I could say it one last time, I have decided to leave, It seems I need to make better choices, Better friends. How could you?
