Alarm
For in the morning dew, a freshness I see. When through the open window cold air gushes in, some kind of positivity it brings. The rising sun, the brand ambassodor of hope, brings about a new cheer to life. In the blink of an eye, When I am reminded of night, A cloud of fear takes upon me. I am reminded of the corner of the room where I sat and cried. My hands start to tremble again. Again was the beast of lonileness knocking my door For when the sorrow of life, flowed down the cheeks every night, for only the walls of the house had heard me sob. Like little girl I wished, I could run to my dad and cry, and complain about the world being so mean. I wish to hear him say all is fine, because all these years I have know my superhero never lied. .But standing by the window miles apart from him, I know I need to wipe my own tears, and hide my own scars. And get up and buckle up for work. because the alarm has already snoozed twice.
