Your Favorite Song
Early on, exhilarating dreams were born deep within my soul. In came life, loaded with challenges to test me and my dreams. My great plans, once pillars of strength, became nightmares. Mountains within sight, became mirages never to be reached. Valleys never sought, became my constant and close companions. In came struggles and troubles too, but none could hold me captive. My shaking Hands, seemed transformed into frozen ice sickles. In came Father's steady hands, becoming my firm foundation. My wavering hands then became praising tools as the ice melted. Trust became my only sanity; and tomorrow reached for me. I am learning to, not wish, but wait patiently for tomorrow, accept His answers, and to surrender my dreams to Father. 04032017 FB PS Contest, Your Favorite Song, Alexis Y.; My favorite song is "Trust In You", by Lauren Daigle (......When You don’t move the mountains I’m needing You to move When You don’t part the waters I wish I could walk through When You don’t give the answers as I cry out to You I will trust, I will trust, I will trust in You!.....)
