Let's Keep It Real
I’m always going to keep it 100 every year No pretense over here Lies come flying out of your mouth and crashing through the roof Please don't exaggerate, just tell the truth The pits of your stomach feeling like you are on fire You need to keep it real, because people can't stand a liar So many people live in a fantasy more than what’s real, it keeps them insane I’m so sorry I don’t have time for games I always have a lot on my mind But typically reality is so hard to find Keep your youth but don’t let it keep you It’s easier to wait for change than to follow through From my lips to your ear Hear my words disappear They say the truth cannot pollute Persuasive lies are difficult to dilute Craving for change and seeing past what's real I have a right to feel what I feel
