A Boy Named Can Do
This is a poem... about a boy named Can Do... who even had trouble untying his shoes. You'd think he'd give up... start singing the blues... yet he was quite different... which once made the news. Some say his wisdom was beyond his years... just listening to him... could bring you to tears. Never once he complained about the cards he was dealt... I wish we all could feel like this special boy felt. A lot of us feel we've had it tough... the sympathy it brings us... we just can't get enough. Please look around you next time you are out... you'll see many worse off... I haven't a doubt. You can overcome the obstacles life throws your way... Can you guess the next thing that I'm going to say? Into each life some rain it must fall... but in the grand picture... your troubles are small. P.R. Deremer
