The Teddy Bears They Did
The Teddy Bears they did The Teddy Bears went out today With Freddie’s turn to have his say About what games they all could play The Teddy Bears they did Lisa, Lionel, Rupert, Ted All got up and made their bed With no complaints and nothing said The Teddy Bears they did And so when all the chores were done They went out into shining sun With Freddy organise the fun The Teddy Bears they did Amongst the trees and up the hill They ran around with measured skill To find a secret place until The Teddy Bears they hid Lisa went down in a hole Lionel tried behind a pole Rupert underneath a bowl The Teddy Bears they hid Now Ted he made a tiny sound Whilst down behind a little mound Freddy searching Ted now found The Teddy Bears they hid All bears found no need to fret Weather turns, with storm a threat Hurry up the hill is wet The Teddy Bears they slid Now running back in pouring rain Through the woods and down the lane Muddy shorts they must explain The Teddy Bears they slid And now along the garden path All stripped off and in the bath Today they all had such a laugh The Teddy Bears they did.
