TAKE ANOTHER LOOK mistakes ~ you see must be ~ experience is cast turning, crawling ~ enthralling ~ on your knees soon walking ~ helpless ~ in a sea of students learning reading writing math life lessons bruise knees black eyes ~ trip us up ~ if only… we ask but why? our creator intended it this way each one with a story to tell the boy who caught the ball and the one who dropped it the single, married, with children ~ and without ~ how many pets would miss out? plan b might seem cruel plan c and d ~ take you to your knees ~ a science fiction episode once explored a pool player who’d gone to heaven his beautifully crafted pool balls heavy in the pockets a winner smiles ~ but day after day ~ payday doesn’t look so good “i don’t understand. why don’t i feel happy in heaven” a smug reply “what makes you think this is heaven!?” so humble your knees be glad for life’s problems ~ to solve ~ some heavier than others but there is a plan and a time for greater things let the angels cheerlead as we sink quicksand grabs ~ pulling us ~ toward something good kim rodrigues © 2017
