Perfect Flaw
Perfect Flaw December 26, 2016 By Laura D Laughing at the great tragedy that is our lives Roaring down the subway tunnel of our hearts Piercing through agony that consumes our wives Killer in me is the killer in you; you said from the start She took my heart, so I let her guide the way He ran her out of town that cold November day When I lost the former tense without ever looking back I lost my innocense through all the things I never lacked What do I mean, this train wreck of a scene? The words spilling randomly, I just hope you don't take offense I'm talking about a beautiful, bittersweet dream The one that never lives in former tense It's the dream of us now: exactly as we used to be Too flawed to be an accident; too innocent to be a mistake But we found each other that cold January day When you came to Virginia, and Laura first came to wake This isn't the kind of fairy tale that belongs in a movie or tv We're Bonnie and Clyde with a dash of Joker and Harely With stolen hearts, we crashed into each other recklessly So let's enjoy the sweet embrace, and sing "c'mon ache with me"
