My Sister
She is an Amazing Sister, on who I can depend, She's compassionately loving and she's my best friend. She's been my rock, she's always kept me strong, She'll forever be in my heart, right where she belongs. She listens to me, when I share my fears, She's there to hold me, when I shed my tears. We can sit and talk for hours, about times gone by, Like the silly things we’ve done, when we’d laugh until we’d cry. She's cared for her nephews, in such a loving way, They never wanted to come home, with her they wanted to stay. She's there for her Brother-in-Law, if he's ever blue, Because she knows, he’d be there for her too. She always seems to know, the right words to say, To ease my worries and make me feel okay. Loving her comes easy, it takes no effort at all, When I’m with her, I feel ten feet tall. I keep every memory we’ve made, locked inside my heart, I take them out and reminisce, whenever we’re apart. As the years have flown by, we’ve had so much fun, I could laugh all night with her, until the dawning of the sun. I couldn’t have chosen a better sister, if I was able to pick my own, With her to guide and comfort me, I’ll never be alone. The times we now spend together, maybe every once in a little while, Right now, I'll just say, I Love her and I really miss her smile.
