-listener-
-listener Putting a mask at the side of my face, Wearing it so that I feel in place. I'll open my ears, so tell me everything; If something is bothering you, I'll do anything. Playing the game as the listener, always the same, "Hey, hi there, how are you?" But do you remember my name? Suffering on the other side of the mask, but I see, You know the one who has helped you, not the one true "Me." Growing distant, I hear my heart cracking, but I ask "How was your day?" It makes me truly happy when you say "I'm okay." When I hear those words, I know that I'm doing my best, But there's nothing for the weary, though I really need to rest. Playing the game as the listener, always the same, Crying out once again and forgetting my name. Wipe away the tears and help whoever looks down, Because I know my voice will never make a sound. Loosing myself in the world, I'll close my listening ear, But I know that it's selfish, so for you, I'll be here. I know it's just a dream, but maybe one day, one day, I'll find the person who will tear this mask away. Playing the game as the listener, always the same, When I felt warmth, I started to remember my name. The person I had listened to once, to make it fair, They ripped off the mask... "Hey..." "I know you're there."
