Moon Light On Devil's Lake
Moonlight on Devil's Lake Big bright moon shine oh shine so bright, Oh Devils Lake how do you get your name? And seeing the stars reflecting from the Devil’s skin back to the heavens and back again, seeing the ripples dancing towards the shore, big bright moon shine oh shine on the trees so tall that keeps your mighty fortress from being seen by all, I hear the wind blowing through those trees and hear that ghostly howl that sounds like the mystical Alpha standing above us all, that sound that echoes across the lake that makes you want to shiver and Shake, you hear the howls in the East to the West oh Devils lake is that how you got your name, from your tallest point on that worn quarztite your lake lies 500 feet below, and your many trails that snake around your soul, big bright moon shine oh shine so bright as hours drifts in, and the still covers the night, it looks as you could walk from shore to shore and stop in the middle and see fifty feet below and shake hands with Devil as he steals your soul. by : Nathan and Cassidy Stanford ( daughter)
