Thirsty For Peace
Do you ever get thirsty? With a cup that's half empty I believe in the waters of endless oceans To me peace has a special movement and motion It has grip on you, you feel the strength, but it's your addiction I have a thirst to write A desire to inspire and excite As my penned words of agony meets prosperity So many people are lost and lonely We write to feel like we belong Together as one we can stand strong I am a prayer, and I am a song When we work together we can’t go wrong Yet we waste our lives away hating Instead of peaceful living There are no days too dark, light cannot see through This is for those of you who have dreams of peace that never came true 1 Peter 3:11 They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it. “Pit race against race, religion against religion, prejudice against prejudice. Divide and conquer! We must not let that happen here.” ? Eleanor Roosevelt
