The Minotuar
Ah! Here comes another pawn* should I trifle with him? Or should I do it quickly and painlessly? Well, if I think about it quickly and painlessly would be better Because there are consequences to having a human body. You wear out too fast; you’re not as strong. Pain comes too easily. I have aches in places I never thought possible. I hope this human is a man because girls are just, too… hairy-blah! Aw! Now my bull senses are acting up. I can smell… what is that, twine? He must have brought some so he’ll be able to get out of this Labyrinth. That clever fool! He probably hasn’t thought twice about this adventure. I wonder if he’s still at the front door of the Labyrinth. “Just as I suspected…” Panic-stricken he’s holding on he that twine for dear life. “Hahahaha! What do think you’re going to do with that?” I growled at him, and then in a blink of an eye, he bolts toward my legs, “Hey! Wha- What are you doing down there?” He ties the end of the twine onto one of my legs, And starts going in and out of my legs in a figure eight Then he runs off in another direction and hides behind a boulder in the shadows, Pulling the string tight. I lose my balance, fell face forward onto a garden of boulders “Ugh! You little maggot!” I said as I rolled over. “I’M GOING TO FIND YOU AND SQUISH YOU UNTIL YOU TURN TO JUICE!” I wonder if he’s still holding on to the rope. Pulling gently on the rope, I feel a little bit of resistance Then I yank on it hard, The man comes flying toward me screaming and waving he arms wildly. I catch him in my hand and squeeze him. He starts yelling at the top of his lungs. I hear his bone cracking. Then I throw him into my mouth and start chewing. This man has some interesting texturing… His hair is course; his ears are a little crunchy and gummy at the same time His eyes are slimy with a hard outer shell, but then I bit down on it And it explodes into different liquids. His nose is all cartilage; his mouth, the lips are… they’re hard to describe. They’re a little clingy, the teeth I spit out. The tongue is my favorite; it’s leathery and rough, but tender as well. He was delicious. I swallow him but spit out his clothes. They taste like sweat and nastiness… blah! Well that was more fun than I thought it would have been. Although my chest hurts like crazy. But that was a delicious dinner; I wonder what tomorrows’ dinner is going to be like, I wonder what kind of obstacles I might run into. Well now I’m going go to sleep, goodnight boulders, goodnight king and queen, Who gives me these delicious meals. Goodnight mother, goodnight gods and goddess. Goodnight darkness. *Pawn- One of the seven men being used as a “sacrifice.”
