We talked all day, through the twilight of the night. All I could think about was the color of your eyes. You had me head over heels. Just the thought of your name couldn’t keep me still. Your touch was so warm it calmed all of my storms. You were such a smooth talker, which drew me in more because I was a writer. Yet still I didn’t think you were the one. My friends tried to convince me ‘til my ears drew numb. Still I didn’t understand why I liked you, as you were quiet young. I never drew interest to boys with light colored eyes and a curly topped head. But your soul had something different. Different from the rest. I felt this was destined to create a huge mess.
