Never Say Goodbye
Lonely days fill up my mind Nighttime comes and stars don't shine Without you my heartbeat wanes Time stands still...no joy... Pain. It's been too long since we've been close Too long...only Heaven knows The days' routine I miss so much Children, chores, your gentle touch The minor things much ignored Are major memories, future stories The mundane tasks that mark our days A new day's folklore of our family's ways Our children's legacy, ours to make  Our triumphs, trials, mistakes We've done our best Heaven knows Dear God, how I miss you...my children also Please return to me, soon, I pray The year has turned, so has our days I love you still...always 'til death do us part...we've promised past Beyond eternity...may our love last.
