A Deluge
Submerged in intense emotions he keeps n a v i g a t i n g into the deluge… It was him who moved forward into the overwhelming ocean, he reacted out of determination when he set out to do what was right- O v e r f l o w i n g with remarkable demonstration, full of emotion, Noah built an ark and faced a storm for FORTY days and FORTY nights. Two by two animals and family, God had told him to carry in his ark, a storm so s t r o n g brewing but Noah was raised to be righteous- Day upon day and unable to navigate it was so spate and dark, but this PATRIARCH was full of persistence and was bravely courageous. Waters e n g u l f e d the land so steep the mountains were covered, a storm so furious killing all living creatures still left on earth- As Noah looked into the raging sky he knew the bluster had hovered, but deep down understood this TEMPEST would bring novel re-birth. In inundation the deluge immersed and the ark kept r e s i s t i n g, cattle and stock fearing the gushes of water profusely pouring inside- They were not used to being with other species and coexisting, but the flood was so a t r o c i o u s they had nowhere to run and hide. After the s u r g e s cleared and daybreak arose with hues so pleasant, the ark pulled up to the shore but there was nothing left to seek- The livestock and humanity walked off quite wet and EXTREMELY hesitant, just then a white dove flew in with a God sent olive branch in his beak. Submerged in intense emotions the d e l u g e navigated him into fresh pastures. A Deluge Contest Sponsor: Julia Ward Date Written: August 31, 2016
