The Last Poem
As we gather here today, it’s hard not to shed a tear. For today may mark the end to all the memories we’d get to share. A life without you guys is one I don’t wish to see. For each and every one of you had become a part of me. My heart aches with sadness. I just can’t seem to understand why The many hellos from over the years had to be crushed by one final goodbye. The pain is overbearing. I just wish for it to end. I just wish that we could go back to the good old days my friend. I just wish that we had more time to cherish these moments together. I just wish that this chapter was one that lasted forever. There were times I wished for today to come. I didn’t think it through. Who would’ve ever thought that letting go would be so hard to do? And now a part of me is missing. This family is no more. A “Happy ever After” together will vanish once we exit through those doors. And so as we venture on our own and attempt to make our dreams come true, I do not wish to say “goodbye”, but to rather say “see you later” to all of you
