The scourge of cold could be felt on their backs - throngs of men, women, sons, and daughters. Locked inside a cavernous boat, the saved, like latchkey kids of the Most High. Blinded from the pain of angry screams, attending to the cries of the hungry wild. Eventually, the water deepened and lifted the ark from the muddy ground.
