Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Example for Backwards Poem Contest you breathing inside me eludes greatness with pure temptation and love within obstacles in faith with hope of future dependent for living greatly and freedom to love with prayers gently said It is a form of poetry which can be read correctly downwards and upwards also. I used a strict syllable count of: 1-2-2-3-3-4-4-5-5-4-4-3-3-2-2-1 My hope was for this to flow as close to a free verse poem as possible when read down then back up again. This is what it reads going down (words left to right) "you breathing inside me eludes greatness with pure temptation and love within obstacles in faith with hope of future dependent for living greatly and freedom to love with prayers gently said." This is how it reads starting at the end and going back up (words right to left) "said gently prayers with love to freedom and gently living for dependent future of hope with faith in obstacles within love and temptation pure with greatness eludes me inside breathing you."
