It's a Shame
It's a Shame By Franklin price 7/17/2016 It's a shame where we have gone Since the day of nine-one-one Seems all we've done is taken sides Evidently we're not done Don't say that all lives matter That's much too broad a stand Might bring us all together Bring some peace back to this land Make no effort to negotiate What is the best for all Must choose a side on which to be And at its beck and call Republican or Democrat Is a choice that we must make Must take the apple offered Provided by the slippery snake Walk the planks of the minorities Kiss the asses of the rich Flush our Republic down the drain Controlling interests are a bitch Don't say you haven't noticed It has worsened day by day As is presented by the media Who try to make the news they say Reporting so lop-sided Whether Fox or CNN Maybe truth is in the middle Don't know where we should begin The public better wake up Should not believe the lies they tell The undermining of authority Will send this country straight to hell
