Most Embarrassing Moment
Here's a little background - before I tell this tale. My Mother and I were very close - we knew each other well! We did a lot of things together - and had loads of fun! Whether in a Movie theatre - or out in the gorgeous sun. We gathered a bunch of friends together and went on a camping trip. I did not know then - that here is where I'd make my slip. We got everything set up - and had our evening meal. After cleaning up, talking and laughing - it was time for some sleep to steal. The next morning most everyone was up and drinking coffee. Threw on my shoes - but they weren't where they should be! So I took a moment to switch them - but something wasn't right! Headed off for that coffee - maybe that would improve my sight. As I got closer to the group someone asked my why I was wearing 2 left shoes? Where was he awhile ago - with this earth shattering news? Since my Mom and I had the same color and style of shoes that weekend. I had apparently put on 2 left shoes - to this day how I managed to do that - I still can't comprehend! Footnote: We had shared a tent together (Mom, Dad, and I) and she had brought an extra pair of shoes which she was wearing when I got up to grab that coffee -and I am still teased about it to this very day.
