This silent wretching is all I know. So please don't just say this is sad. Then turn around and just be glad. Between the lines is where I live. Where she says that she can't forgive. I am now nobody's fool. This kind of game, there is no rule. Answers are lost in my heart. Thirty-two years, we've been apart. Absurdity is all they see. But it should be you and me.
