My Cousin Chaos
My Cousin Chaos Contest Sponsor: Brian Davey Disorderly conduct in the worst degree, Ella stood up on that ol’ cherry tree, Lil’ Joey screaming for her to come down, But she wasn’t ready to jump on the ground. Auntie Jen came out and heard the chatter, While cousin Joey ran and got the ladder, Here came Jeremy, Frankie and Katie, But Ella wouldn’t stop being a baby! Down she came with a smirk on her face, Mommy came out with a look of disgrace, The cousins ranted and Katie ran to sneak, It was time to play cousin hide and seek. The parents mingling and conversing away, While the kids run around in mad disarray, “He’s under the couch, no behind the chair!” We heard Frankie screaming to look over there. Jeremy in the middle playing play station, Complete pandemonium causing frustration, Ella and Katie would rather paint their nails, When Frankie hangs from the stair side rails. “Hot dogs and hamburgers are ready kids!” But the noise and confusion swayed in the midst. “Why don’t you try to get the cousins to eat!” Auntie Karen couldn’t get them out of the heat. Joey jumped in the pool without swimmies, And who walked over? The little cousin Jimmy! I swear these kids are cheeper by the dozen, Welcome to my home, full of chaotic cousins!
