What Bothers You
What bothers you? What makes you sore? Is it just life in general, Or is it something more? Seems you never talk, About what makes you smile. All you seem to think on, Are troubles and trials. I like your house. Your yard is so green. You say it's expensive, A chore to keep clean. You have a nice dog. He's cute, makes me laugh. He poops in the yard, Leaves trails and tracks. I like your spouse. She's generous and kind. She's a spend thrift and lazy, And has a weak mind. Living expenses, The laws of the land, The weather, goose feathers, Dirt, silt and sand. Is there anything anywhere, That gives you pleasure? What makes you smile? What do you treasure? One cannot live always, Beneath such a cloud. There must be something, Of which you are proud. No wonder you spend, So much time alone. with a house mate like you, I would never come home. What bothers you? What disturbs your digestion? What doesn't, I think, Would be more the question.
