What's Your Storm
As I gaze upon the starlit sky, its’ beauty enveloped between the clouds; At first glance I see the calm, then before my eyes, life’s ‘thunderous storm. What’s Your Storm? Mine is the gift of life, with its many ups and downs, The mysteries and wonders that keeps’ me spellbound; The unexpected adventures; that were not planned, The twist and turns that I’ll never understand! You see, the realization is; The storms of life never stops; no matter the time or season, Their existence is evolutionary, like the “Garden of Eden.” A story book of lessons, pages filled with complexities, To test our minds resolve, and exposes our insecurities! Simply put, like it or not; Life without storms is a never ending dream, Figments of our imagination, that will never be seen; The storms in our lives’ are reflections of our past, Stop dwelling on the yesterdays and make todays memories last!
