Suns Midnight Silence
I sit here listening to the sounds of silence. Peace and harmony was what some call it. I call it the graveyard of the mind and soul. Sounds use to make there way from television, Presenting laughter, music, conversations to me, No longer will pictures be coming from any screen. No longer, will there be any sounds of others to see. Since the earth has changed its orbit, we grow closer, To the heat of the sun, we are raged upon each day. Every hour, rising heat climbs upon the endless day. No one left but me now, why am I tormented this way. Unbearable heat grows as I remember the coolness, Which were the lakes and waterfalls, spraying mist. All have disappeared upon this midnight suns silence. Suddenly I am awakened; sweat running rapidly, Across my face and entire torso, I hear a voice. The fever has broke, will he survive now doctor. Time will tell nurse, only time will tell the rest. I awoke and asked for some cool water, anything. I am alive and others, realizing it was only a dream, Now to start living life, not merely existing, ungratified. I have learned and survived the suns midnight silence, Each day will be welcomed; nightfall will be a delight.
