Who Really Am I
"Who Really Am I" When a new day dawns and I arise, having been given another chance to open these eyes, I know not what the day has for me in store, I'm so thankful for being given one day more! Quiet contemplation does start me thinking. Slowly in deeper thought I find myself sinking. I do not resist, nor would I ever try, LORD, here is my question, "Who really am I!" When looking in the mirror, again I see this face! The image stares back with a strong gaze embrace! Every single thought that crosses my mind is attached to a memory of some kind! Sometimes the eyebrows furrow, sometimes they rise up, depending upon which cup in this life did I sup! The face in the mirror looks me straight in the eye! I see quite clearly what he's thinking, "Who really am I?" Venturing into the world and in conversational chat, we share with others where we're going and also where we're at! The talk and reverie expands our point of view. We sometimes hear what'll make us ask, tell me, "Who really are you?" Mankind has been asking this question from day one, and forever will do so until it's oblivion! Seeking an answer to fully explain and clarify, and just wanting to know and understand, "Who really am I?" WTA-IV 5/11/2016
