Politics At Play
Here we go, so far from in the know. How did these candidates get chosen, funded by the corporate private money unseen and unfrozen? They sing, they dance, they point and talk the power of money’s wide expanse. Here we are, the average Joe, Jamal, Jose either black or white, a little Latino, Is there an Asian or Islamic view? Certainly not radical, liberal or even really conservatives wanting change and progress from this political blame blitz. She’s blond – well maybe, but she’s Bill’s faithful wife and his mistakes brought us such political strife. Those e-mails uncontrolled hide messages I’m told, like Whitewater questions never to unfold. He’s old and not political or so he doesn’t hesitate to say to change his stance dependent on where he needs to rate. Education will be free for all one day. Everyone else will have to pay. Then there is that loud boisterous not politically correct man who promises change with bombs, walls and deportation on command, where do you stand? Where did this mix of questionable characters come from and how does a party chose who is to run? The choices, once again, repeatedly are quite poor was this the change we were looking for? Where are women in this pool, bright graduates from school, are there none from this land of the free who rose from backgrounds of poverty and immigrated family trees? Are you better off than you were four years ago? (Ronald Reagan) I’m not sure, it’s hard to keep up. Build a bridge to the twenty first century. (Bill Clinton) Trust me, we’ll get there no matter what. A safer world and a more hopeful America. (George W. Bush) Is it really safe, I’m not sure who to trust. Change we can believe in. (Barack Obama) Well, I’m still waiting, I believed once. Believe in America, restore our future. (Mitt Romney) Maybe the past wasn’t so bad. Make America great again. (Donald Trump) I always wanted to be on top. A future to believe in, (Bernie Sanders) I believe if you do. Fighting for us. (Hillary Clinton) Can we stop fighting and just do it? New possibilities, real leadership. (Carly Fiorina) Same old, same old. Change we can believe in. (Barack Obama) I don’t think I believe any of you anymore. Reveal the true you like Ray Stevens' The Streak! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxUfg3uCBbg I'm looking!
