Listen To the Warm
Listen to the warm "It happens just because we need to want, and to be wanted to, when love is here or gone to lie down in the darkness.. and listen to the warm". ...Rod Mcuen As the chills of extreme winter bite me through the night, I close eyes to visit my memorable past when you held me in your arms so tight, I could feel your breaths on my neck, skin next to mine and thumps of fastened heartbeats. Wantings craved to end tranquil as I listened to the warm. I then open eyes to find no one by my side, frozen frigid with dried up eyes that do not reply to any emotion anymore, I wait endlessly for your eternal touch that only could send some warmth. Me and you and our rhythmic beats of that time were the soul's treat... Those close walls if were able to speak will evince and further endeavour to seek... How inseparable souls and crossed our hearts, could time ever tear us apart ? Written May 11th, 2016 For contest by Laura loo Now entered for "Your best poem from Laura loo's poetry contest"
