Too Soon, Too Late
Too soon, the world is awake ready to take on the day. Laid back, waiting for the sunrise the wood sings with awakened life. Before dawn, the meadowlark calls greeting the day, long before it arrives. Moon shadows cast trunks and limbs tall and regal on the earth. Too soon, the stilled silence and peace is broken and noise creeps in. Impatiently anxious, the world i tossed into the throws of want and need and desire. Sun rise peeks, low and orange on the horizon and light is reborn and takes over day. Night hovers in the west bidding good morning and slips stealth away. Too soon, the earth revolves rotating like hands of a clock, Marking time and moving forward never looking back. The saying is "time waits for no man" or woman either. Too soon, too late the day is spent and night arrives.
