Stoned
Could not believe that I Would find out on my own And how I would feel so frozen Like I am trapped inside a stone When there isn’t any difference Between all of them and you And one thing I have noticed The many are now the few Locked inside a prism And no light is shining through Keeps me here wondering About things I never knew I just get to impatient And want to be left alone Far away from your cold heart That is as frozen as a stone You can no longer damage Something as broken as me As I watch your shallow image that now sinks lower than the sea It can be so difficult to say Just exactly what you mean I would have sat and listened If you could have kept it clean It is not the only time I have lost everything I owned And it just does not bother me Because today I got so stoned
