My reflection comes and then goes, Like a beast, elusive and awry And the image of perfection shows, At least, in the corner of my eye. I cower, I swish the tears Away from the minions and tyrants Who tower over my latent fears In a way reminiscent of the giants. Giants who tread on my wayward soul And crush my ghostly shroud, O, how I dread that six foot hole And the hush of a grieving crowd. They all wear fish-like eyes Blinking them 'til wet and red, Caring not for who lives or dies, Thinking only that they must be dead.
