Left It's Scars Adult Content
Dealing with child abuse is never easy, or straight forward in my own case ,I was abused for over 6 years, physically and mentally. my mum left when I was 7, she could not take any more abuse from dad, dad turned on me soon after.... I often went to school black and blue , from my shoulders to the backs of my knees. HOW COME NO-ONE REPORTED HIM ? he nearly suceed'ed in killing me ! (pushed overboard from his small boat , into the North Sea). In my very early teens, I had to run for my life... I became a cutter. trying to "bleed the bad out". I had convinced myself that mum's leaving and dad's abuse was all my fault; poor deluded child. Till one day , I went too deep and got a vein... The hospital repaired it with what I call plastic vein. It stopped me trying to "bleed the bad out". The hospital's psychiatrist convinced me that my parents were not MY fault. Healing is still a work in progress for me, I will get there with my sisters help. (they were much stronger ,and healed quicker). Sadly, It left It's scars. Elizabeth alexander 20/3/2016 my thanks to Shaunda and Gizella for saving me.
