Lament of My Life
If you analyzed my life over the years More sadness than happiness is what appears A lot of pain is very clear Never been very hopeful because of all the fear I've nursed those that were ill and helped them to heal Sat with those that were dying making it very surreal Reproduced for mankind but not without an ordeal Often I had questions regarding how to feel I've always been available to help if indeed I'm able too Never having expectations but a simple thank-you Often I have struggled just to pay a bill But the struggling built up my strength and will I have gone through a lot more than one really should Never wanted to change my life though even if I could I hope earth will miss my footprints that I've often left All of the paths I have crossed make me feel truly blessed.
