Where Do You Go
Where Do You Go Where do you go when love leaves you? Where do you go to grieve? Where do you bury the shattered heart And hide all the wounds , tell me please? When does the Sun start shining After a romantic encounter ends? When can you pick up the pieces And can you start over again? How does a life flourish When dumped on with such cruelty How can the true heart live alone now When promised sincere loyalty ? No more candles and wine nor shared bathes No more romantic music nor perfumed whispers in my ear No more laughing in the pouring rain No more seeing you again No more Honey , Sweetheart , and Dear Why do the stars shine in Heaven But no longer reflect in your eyes? Why did you ever call her Honey when you knew The rendezvous would never be permanently realised? by Joan May Donnelly Ellis February 18 2016
