This yearly ritual is said to bring good fortune, To believe, or not, I always eat a good portion. I admit that for this repast I’m not overly crazed, And would favor a good sirloin, moderately brazed; But again, on New Year’s table, Peas will enhance, While not subscribing to luck, why take a chance?
