Just One More Day
Just One More Day We Didn’t Say Goodbye Everything within reach of my hands But I still could not reach your life strands To be able to warm up your heart and console It was out of my control Tears have been shed to the core I'll weep no more If I had one wish to make It would be to see you when I wake If I could see you one more time Flowers would bloom and the winds chime I'd reach for the heaven’s blue And hold you tight and say I love you To say,”It’s going to be alright” And the future is in your sight” You left us on a silver angels wing To sing in the sunshine of spring Cannot believe you are gone and so much time has gone by I never even got the chance to say goodbye Your death taught me how to cherish those whom I hold so dear, To show others how much I care and need them near 12/9/2015 Poetry Contest: JUST ONE MORE DAY Sponsored by: Laura Loo My little sister Belinda was only 21, she was a mother and a wife. The photo above was taken the night she passed.
