Voices In My Head
Suddenly a voice appears I hear it in my mind, within my head not in my ears not of the normal kind. But it is clear as any voice as far as I can tell and speaks within my inner self of things I have to tell. But making others listen is a task I have to bear, for it's me who is the medium and their words I have to share. As feelings, thoughts and pictures mix with words within my mind I know to whom they’re speaking and the one I have to find. So I then bring through the person whose earthly life has past to the friend who really miss them since their body breathed its last. Bringing very personal memories to confirm they are their friend with several words of comfort to prove death is not the end. When their meeting’s finally over I know both have been set free from the sharpest edge of grieving for the friend they'd never see. Whichever's your religion or whatever your belief it's not knowing if death's final that intensifies your grief. But when a friend who knows you gives you proof death's not the end you'll then know life's just a journey for you’ve shared it with your friend. But I am just the medium who hears voices in my head, the proof and understanding you'll get only from the 'dead'. Ivor G Davies
