He Saved Me
The shadows of death looms I’m confounded, I’m doom Why am I tied like a broom? I pray the Savior to dispel this gloom You knew me right from the womb Is he here, is Jesus in this room? I was bound to addiction Is a fact not a mere fiction I’ve lived in sin, it was my affection I was lost and blind I was chained and bind The devil manipulated my mind I had the fact but I encountered truth one day I met a man who showed me the true way He shook of my drug addiction and healed my affliction He shed His blood and saved me from eternal damnation He loved me and showed me His eternal salvation This wretched man was born to die But Jesus saved me and lifted me on high He lifted me from the ashes And poured in me His passion The Holy Spirit is my connection The Word of God is my nutrition
