Demons Dig Doing Me Dirty
Well, they scratch my poor back and it draws forth much blood But some earth from the grave and fresh urine make mud Which I slap on my welts to ease up on the pain And resolve to forever from "Ouija" refrain. But those angels all bore me and won't stop to talk When I plead for their time they will never not balk Gotta Go's the excuse as they flee fast away There's no word I can speak to entice them to stay. So it's not long before I shall fling myself back To the sharp-nailed ones whose foul hearts are all black Now, they only have gender at moments they choose But I never give up; I mean, what's there to lose? So, I'm wracking my brains to come up with a plan To entice the dark beings who torment this poor man. I could offer them something they'd like in return But it can't be my soul, 'cause for that I would burn. It is quite the conundrum that faces me here To obtain what I want without living in fear Of my karmic entrapment in lives yet to come For possessing the stones to ask demons for some. Now, don't ever advise me to keep with my kind I have already tried that, and what did I find? That a woman's quick tongue is the sharper by far Than the talons which gave me so lurid a scar.
