Mirror of Memories
I look at my face in the mirror and realize that I don't know what my name is. I know it starts with an S but the rest just won't come. I think about the day before when I drove to the post office to mail a letter. I found myself in aisle 6 of the grocery store and couldn't remember how I got there. As I looked around to see if anything jogged my memory I found myself in the parking lot two rows over from my car. As I opened the door and got behind the wheel I saw an envelope on the passenger seat and the post office rang a bell. I looked at my reflection in the rear view mirror and saw a tear rolling down my cheek and wondered how long that had been there. I decided that when I got home I wasn't going to drive anymore, but I knew that by the time I got home I wasn't going to remember any of this. I'm drowning right before my very eyes and I can't do a thing about it. Help me. Who am I? Who are you? Posted 11/16/15
