This thought distressed my heart to sigh which told my mind my eyes would die and thus invite ten tons of woes if they praise not, the lovely Rose. I love the Rose in all its hues - The yellow, pink, white for my muse. One image though quite bold and mighty the Blood Red Rose of Aphrodite. The Blood Rose is passion's prose, Mary’s heart bled in repose; the symbol of undying love, as much of life, of peace…is dove. Sweet, and quite of regal bearing, odd, the thorns make it endearing. My one request upon my death - scent of a Rose, be my last breath.
