On Facebook
I found my true love on facebook, threre was a picture along side of her name. I saw her big brown eyes, the ones I once knew, from so many years before. I sent her a message, a"How are you" from someone known so many years ago She told me she'd find me on facebook where there are all the picures of my life.. She looked through my past , the shadow I cast, some shots from long long ago. The very same eyes we each had..our faces slightly withered by time. some wrinkles some gray..we each carry upon our souls..our shells. she said come over for coffee, and talk of memories from years in the past. we set up a date, not long did it take, We sat across , face o face. I said "Your the girl in my dreams"", over the years, youve been here and there" "I wont miss this chace, Girl can we dance?, as I wanted to ask, so many years ago. She took my hand to her hip...I told her into my arms.pulling her close. a whisper Id held for so many years, this question, I just had to ask. "May I kiss you my dear,?" So soft in her ear..this question from a lifetime before.
