We wait by the glistening waves, Wondering why the mind hadn't known, That the heart can ne'er be cherished, In the dense woods of people, Yearning for joy in the forests of clamour, Was but a mischief of the learned. Keeping the heart afar from God's law, Can best be unveiled by the thirsty soul, By worshipping the purity of nature, Tripping over the dewy pearls, Fleeing from the fetters of manmade expectations We paused for a breath on our way to our hilly sojourn.
