Monstrosity
MONSTROSITY Up in the old house down by the creek Stood a mammoth waiting on me. Down by the river close to the sea I saw his eyes looking through the trees. Walking through the valley feeling free The mammoth came running after me. Never a day do I not see The prophecy to be. Monstrosity! Down by the lake sitting near the pond Stood Jake Peter Faulkner with his shotgun. Under the shade tree by a brook Stood his wife Bobbie spooked. Up on the hill top near a jet stream The mammoth watched the City people. Over in the neighboring City, Folks talk of prophesy. They call it Monstrosity! In the village, abhorring the waft Uproar mammoth with his ax. Near the tropopause down by the stream Stood the children telling their dreams. They call them Monstrosity! Up in the old house down by the creek Stood mammoth looking through the trees. O’er in the village down by the sea The people blathers Monstrosity. Every mammoth has his own voice. He is no different up in that old house. Miens hear the threats of terror. Taciturn homily tells of his abilities to Tremble the branches of the trees. The rhymes he orates are spells embodied. He is to fear. Therefore, beware on Halloween. Monstrosity - Monstrosity - Monstrosity! Updated October 31, 2015 for Halloween!
