A Ramble On Justice
What is justice you ask? It is the safekeeping of all we task. It matters not if it is real or intellectual property Blind justice is not supposed to leave us in poverty. Life and limb can be in the scales, Blind justice is to sort through the tales. But justice is more than finding what's right and not belong to those who have the might. Yet, it seems to slant that way at times, Making the poor man stuck with the crimes. "An eye for an eye..." so the Bible reads, Thank God in heaven that we can plead. For justice is more than the payment in life, It is the faulted repayment for our strife. It has been misused in many years past, But justice and honor will always last. Who is the criminal that we see? Convicted people that will ever be. We judge others by the standards we were taught, and over many of these wars have been fought. Whether everyday wars in dealing with police, or going back in history between Persia and Greece. Justice usually belongs to the winner and not the one who is the sinner. There is a justice we all will face when our life will end its earthly race. That last judgement will truly be final as we will be in no position of denial. The justice of that judgement will everlasting be and no reprieve may we see. What is justice you may ask? It will not be ours, but God's task. Dan Cwiak 8/31/15 for contest
