Little Julie Enjoys Her Waffle Cone
little julie enjoys her waffle cone three scoops of vanilla with lots of sprinkles saw her alone in the middle of a hefty snowfall with nothing on but a sweater and some faded jeans that night, i fixed her some warm chicken noodle soup and some hot chocolate i asked her if she had any family members nearby she bashfully shook her head no i then asked her about her mother and her father she just sad softly 'they are not of this world' that reply made me pause for a quick sec afterwards i asked her if she wanted more soup she quickly nodded yes and asked me if i had any bread i made her some cinnamon biscuits and just watched her as she ate from there i asked no more questions....i just made up a bed in the spare room that was three years and two months ago now here we are in this ben and jerry's little julie still enjoys her waffle cone three scoops of vanilla with lots of sprinkles her smile is the period at the end of this poem i write while watching her indulge gleefully.
