My Last Prayers
holding onto the fears of our fathers and to some new forms of paranoia the wind easily scatters us like feathers you wouldn’t think we’re the descends of Noah the mind is divorced from the heart so desensitised we don’t even cry anymore the mind is a misguided backhand slap takes pleasure in seeing some fall and crawl on all fours deviant - you’re never going to end your mayhem you know the world you seek you can’t have so you attempt to destroy all that you can’t fathom and seek nothing less than human collapse and to enslave this evil has no basis only breeds more and more crisis topple governments – the foundations of human societies in the dark corners of the world plan massacres desecrates monuments and alienates own communities you will be defeated – nothing this evil can survive you will be reformed – ‘cos all you’re doing is brainwashing you’re going to hell – the hate speech you preach – divides you’ll be forgotten by history – for all your propaganda – it’s time wasting a mother too regrets sending her son to university he died with his head down in his books on its premises I remember love, not fear of going off to church service but now I don’t know if come Sunday I might be saying my last prayers
