The Letter
The words I wanted to use escape me as I sit with pen in hand. This isn't an ultimatum and I'm not drawing a line in the sand. I wanted to write you a letter to tell you how I feel. I'm trying to tell you I'm sorry as my tears hopefully reveal. I wish I was some kind of professor or had a PhD. Maybe then you would understand or even believe in me. I know my limitations, I'm not the smartest man. I don't remember the details or even how it all began. I'm sure if I used the right words I could explain my heart. My love for you is forever and can never be torn apart. You are the part of me that makes me a better person. Whenever we aren't together I feel pain that continues to worsen. I hate to give up or quit, but I'm not able to write this letter. I guess I'll just try a hug because that always makes you feel better.
