Called Mental Cases
Called Mental Cases Just finished and completed my usual early morning three poems. I have cursed you with the last one first. It is designed to prepare you for the other bad news ones existing and standing in their own right which, of course, is completely out of sight. Here goes. Birds had butted heads up against a fence After each one found they had become dense As to who in right mind should run for President Suppose it was Superman or maybe Clark Kent. Who would be playing best acting leading role After people starting to read a political poll Something strange and peculiar they soon saw A mighty big crowd each of them did draw. Like fools would rush in as well as storming Like all of them were attending a house warming Were licking chops while we saw their drool Of thought we were wondering which school. We began noticing their protruding philosophy Had to major in either psychiatry or psychology When for each thought you tried to find basis No wonder vast majority were called mental cases.
